Roles Available

Blog Writers: Craft engaging and informative blog posts on various topics related to precision medicine, including research breakthroughs, case studies, industry insights, and the impact of precision medicine on healthcare.

Social Media Content Creators: Develop compelling content for our social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X) to increase engagement, raise awareness about precision medicine, and promote the ABOPM.

Social Media Manager: Manage our social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, monitoring trends, and analyzing analytics to assess the effectiveness of our social media efforts.

Web Designer / Graphic Designer / Web Manager: Utilize your creativity and technical skills to design and enhance our website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and effectively communicates ABOPM's mission and initiatives. Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other visual content to enhance our online presence and communication materials. Help maintain and update our website with relevant content, resources, and information about ABOPM activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates are medical students or students interested in health and precision medicine, health and science bloggers, researchers, graphic designers, or individuals with a strong interest in precision medicine.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and well-researched content in a clear and engaging manner with research-backed information.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content creation and engagement.

  • Passion for precision medicine and a desire to contribute to its advancement.

Board Question Writers: As a Board Question Writer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality examination questions that assess the knowledge and skills of candidates seeking certification in precision medicine. Develop clear, accurate, and clinically relevant multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that adhere to question-writing guidelines and standards. Include explanations of answer choices and references.

Qualifications for Board Question Writer:

  • Advanced degree (MD/DO or PhD) in a relevant field such as genetics, -omics, systems biology, network analysis, molecular biology, bioinformatics, clinical application of precision medicine, or other areas pertaining to precision medicine.

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in precision medicine foundational knowledge or clinical application, including molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies, pharmacogenomics, and personalized healthcare.

  • Experience in medical education, curriculum development, or assessment preferred.

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and well-structured examination questions.

  • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to guidelines and standards for question development.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and incorporate feedback from the exam development team.
